Stopping the crazyness

These are now part of my new life! I found myself falling back into my old habits and convincing myself it was ok because a0 I can't loose anymore weight before the wedding and b) soon I won't be able to have them at all so have it now. Well I have put on weight, I was no higher than when I started the blog but I lost the alchohol kilos from my hens night then found the scales creaping up.
So I thought I will start the optifast NOW!

I am not going on the full program just yet, I will wait till closer to the surgery date but I am going to replace some meals with shakes or soups just to keep some control and keep loosing weight. The wedding is only 8 days away and I am 1.9kgs over my prefered weight for it so hopefully I will get closer to it in the coming days.

Last night my family had sausages, veggies, and my favourite Mac & Cheese for dinner, I had an optislim creamy chicken soup. (I have 1 box of optislim as it was all my local chemist had, they don't stock much optifast so I have ordered it online). It wasn't too bad, could have definately been better but by the time I got to the end of the cup I was used to the taste. I was suprised at how filling it was, and it kept me going all night.

I am not ready to give up my coffee just yet! After the wedding I will drop the amount of them down but not yet! I am also having a yogurt for breakfast. I find that I really enjoy them, I never was a yogurt fan in the past. They are only 70 calories a tub so a great start to the day. I do realise that in the weeks coming up to the surgery these will have to go also, but hopefully after all is healed up I can have them as breakfast once again.

As I said, the wedding is in 8 days (insert freak out here) and then a few days after I go back to Melbourne to see the Psychologist... fun, I must remember to not be having a crazy day!

  1. Good luck with the wedding. I'm keeping an eye out for Optifast when it's on special. I'm going to do 2 weeks, starting the day after Queen's Birthday, as my surgery is booked for 26 June.
